PYPLOK® fittings receive DNV Certification
The Tube-Mac® Group is pleased to announce that the PYPLOK® product line has received DNV (Det Norske Veritas) Certification. Reference Certificate #P-13306.
PYPLOK® fittings approved in carbon steel, stainless steel type 316 and copper nickel CuNi 70/30 materials with pressure rating up to 6960 PSI (480 bar). Sizes range from 1/4" to 3" NPS pipe, 1/4" to 2" OD tube and 6mm to 66mm Metric tube.
Approved for Class I, II and III pipe systems in a variety of fluids and gases. See certificate for application listing.
This is yet another step to ensure our customers that Tube-Mac® products are considered the best.
PYPLOK® performs well in
Australian applications
At Shell Oil Company, PYPLOK® low pressure couplings (3/4" NPS) have performed very well on low pressure steam lines at system temperature of 212°F (100°C).
At CIG Bottle Gas Company, a PYPLOK® 1" OD couplings
have also successfully joined metal tubes on a liquid
nitrogen systems at -328°F (-200°C) and 320 psi (23 bar).
At Caltex Refinery, PYPLOK® fittings, couplings and elbows were installed on 25mm "Hot Boiler Water Feed" in their Diesel Hydrotreating Plant in 1985. The lines remain leak free today, over 25 years after initial install.

At Shell Singapore, PYPLOK® installation (1/2" NPS) on medium pressure 392°F (200°C) steam system.
Armstrong in the U.K. benefits from PYPLOK®
Armstrong International has extensively installed PYPLOK® at ConocoPhillips, BNFL and Huntsman.
PYPLOK® at Dupont Chamber Works
is Successful
Since the 1992 evaluations of PYPLOK® by Dupont Chamber Works, many Dupont processing plants are now using PYPLOK® fittings for their steam tracer systems.
Dupont Chamber Works has utilized PYPLOK® 1/2" carbon steel couplings for use on their steam trap assembly modernization program.
Dupont Chamber Works also
completed the installation of PYPLOK® 2" carbon steel
couplings on a Brine, Calcium Chloride system.
This system was installed using the manual
pump for fire safety reasons.
